Has a bachelor degree in both Dentistry (1991) and General Medicine (1999) from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. Specialised in Oro-maxillo-facial Surgery,he completed his Ph.D in Dentistry in 2001, at the Carol Davila University Bucharest. In 2008 became Chief of Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the in Saint Mary Hospital, Bucharest.

He is the owner of the Nicolescu Agatstein Dental Clinique in Bucharest, Romania. Has been collaborating for many years, as official surgeon of the team, with Dr. Galip Gurel, Turkey. Currently he is practicing in Bucharest and lecturing internationally on Oral Surgery, Implantology, Reconstructive dentoalveolar surgery, Maxillofacial surgery, Orthognathic surgery.
